In a peaceful residential spot, on a private road, yet within walking distance of "the little white town" of Bideford. This Victorian gardeners’ cottage has been extensively modernised and expanded to provide all the modern comforts.  Close to the spectacular North Devon coastline and the 2 miles of sandy beach at Westward Ho! and the Northam Burrows.  

At Westward Ho! you can enjoy picturesque National Trust cliff-top walks along the North Devon Coastal Path. The Big Sheep, a popular family attraction, is a 5 minute drive away and has a range of shows and play areas. Ultimate Adventure Centre offers various outdoors pursuits for the more adventurous.  There are a host of local attractions including, The Oldenburg in Bideford for day trips to Lundy Island, Clovelly, with its cobbled streets, Tapeley Park, Watermouth Castle, The Milky Way and more. There are numerous National Trust properties in the area including Arlington and Hartland Abbey, as well as the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor and Docton Mill. Hartland Quay and lighthouse are well worth a visit and for family fun. Golf, riding, fishing, surfing, mountain boarding, karting and high ropes are available locally and the wild beauty of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Bodmin Moors are all within easy driving distance as is the famous Eden Project. The accommodation offers five bedrooms:  On the ground floor there are two double bedrooms, one on-suite.  Upstairs a king size master bedroom, along with a further two double bedrooms and a family bathroom.  All bedrooms have luxury crisp white Egyptian Cotton Bed Linen.  In addition guests are provided with Bath Sheets & Hand Towels.  The property can accommodate up to 10 guests.  Lounge: large through lounge with seating for six, this provides direct access on the outside patio areas with a large TV with free Netflix, BBC iPlayer and free internet access.  Large kitchen/diner: with seating for 10. Well-equipped with range gas cooker, dishwasher and microwave, double American fridge freezer and secondary smaller fridge freezer.  Pantry: washer/dryer, storage. Outside: large decked area with views over all the surrounding countryside.  Views of the sea one way with Exmoor in the distance the other way.  To the side of the property is a barbecue area, directly linked to the decked area..  There are is also a large upper and lower patio areas.  Down from the patio area is a large completely secure rear garden. Amenities: parking for 3 cars. Bed linen, towels, electricity, central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking. One well behaved dog, not allowed in bedrooms at an additional cost of £35.
